ALL the work on all of my pages uses a variety of 2D and 3D software tools, including SketchUp, Blender, Unreal, Unity, and the Photoshop suite, AI 2D and 3D tools, Open-Simulator (real-time engine), PowerPoint, OpenOffice Suite, and any other tools I have to learn on the fly to complete a given task or project. I work every day in a real-time engine, and everything in my portfolio reflects this. Not every budget in the real world can play with the "Bugattis" of tools, and so we find cost-effective compromises. I work with "ALL" tool options, as most teams come together with various tools and skill sets.

Below is a series of LED sculpture concepts from my "Fountains of Light " Series
I created the "Fountains of Light" series as a way to bring my LED sculpture concepts into public spaces. They are meant to be Immersive lights of rejuvenation, offering sculpted sound & light as a brief refresh during hectic travel times. In light of all the environmental troubles in the LA area, I thought it might be nice to offer up this as a "Spirit Light Fountain" For the LA28 Olympics.
Maybe we could find a corporate sponsor to help underwrite this project and in some way also give a helping hand to the communities in the LA area that are affected. Happy to help value-engineer this concept to help it fit with any creative sponsorship program.

This is a sample of some of my real-time projects for both RL and VR. This is a cost-effective way to explore concepts and great fun working with your team as avatars in my worlds. Then the data is transposed to CAD or any other game engine based on the client's vision. Below are some real-time streaming videos.
Rosy Clark Gallery: A virtual Immersion Event
My friend wanted to have a big gallery show for her 2025 five-year retrospective of her real-world paintings and large-format print concepts, so I built her a real-time gallery in the cloud.
This video is of a TINY HOME RESORT concept project in a small footprint. Units vary from 400 to 800 square feet, with a projected build-out budget per unit in the 150 USD per square foot range

This was a "passion" project I created and did all the work on myself in an effort to introduce LED dome screen technology to new dynamic theater solutions. In 2016, I met and convinced this LED company to make a small section test for a sales kit. By 2019, they were ready to bring it to NAB 2019, and we won the best new technology award 2019. I did all this out of passion for a new way to tell stories with cool technology, and the hopes of generating income from new projects. After working 30-plus years with some of the best engineers on the planet, I knew we could do it. We had done harder things in the past. I picked Dubai 2020 as the target in 2016/17, and I set about developing a concept, pitch, and pulling together a team of like-minded seasoned professionals I had worked with on previous projects. I dove in, with no funding or support, and built everything, including a rough preliminary budget that included facility, ride, show, etc., and came in at approximately 22 million installed. It is a lot of work to launch a passion project with new technology into a new market. I knew the odds, but charged forward. It was a hell of a lot of FUN. Yoda was wrong if you don't try, you fail much more. I wonder...

This is a project I did with R&S Production Services Inc. As Co-Creative Producer, Show Designer/Art Director. All digital immersive interactive aquarium for a project in Jordan. Budget spreadsheet available upon request. (Projected buildout budget 22 Million USD)
RiverTown Partners: This VR project developed in my virtual world looks at the creative development of 300+ acres as a planned Entertainment/Educational/ Film &Technology Industrial, destination Resort with housing & aqua culture components. Creative & concept development by: Michael McHugh. Easily 1,000 living wage jobs would be created on this beautiful coastal 300-plus acres. This a preliminary concept plan to show possibilities. It is not the final design. It is a first pass at "WHAT IF". Some of the thoughts are inspired by other real-world projects with similar footprints and demographic pluses.

This is a concept for a visitor's center for the Willamette Falls, long held sacred to the local Native American Tribes of the region. Total immersion, hopefully, leading to a better understanding of the river and the people who rely on and revere it.

This is a concept I created and am exploring in my virtual studio for a visitor's center for the Willamette Falls, long held sacred to the local Native American Tribes of the region. It would be a 150-foot dome with a 360-degree total immersion experience utilizing an existing concrete foundation. We are exploring a multimedia solution idea that would blend projection, LED, and AR/MR, which would enhance the immersive & storytelling experience.

This playlist shows a concept to turn TIMES SQUARE into the biggest immersive interactive event space on the planet with an annual visitor count of 50 million visitors it seems like a "no-brainer".
And of course, there is a ton of cool stuff still under NDA that I cannot share.
